Modernization Communications Specialist – Internal Communications

About the role

Moog’s Commercial Aircraft Group is looking for an OCM Modernization Communications Specialist to partner with the HR Director and senior leadership in shaping and delivering internal communications for roughly 2,500 employees across multiple countries. The role is based onsite in Buffalo/East Aurora, NY and focuses on aligning staff with the company’s vision, boosting engagement, and supporting business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the group’s internal communications strategy and continuously improve communication plans.
• Create, write, edit and distribute newsletters, leadership briefings, town‑hall presentations and other content that translate complex initiatives into clear messages.
• Manage the Commercial Aircraft Group newsletter from content sourcing to regular publication.
• Oversee the CAG website content, working with IT and leaders to ensure relevance and functionality.
• Communicate key milestones, year‑end achievements and fiscal results to the global workforce.
• Collaborate with HR on employee listening initiatives, analyse survey data and recommend experience improvements.
• Evaluate and enhance communication channels and tools in partnership with the enterprise Communications COE.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing or a related field.
• Three to five years of experience in marketing, PR or internal communications.
• Strong writing and editing abilities with the capacity to adapt tone for different audiences.
• Proven experience working with senior leaders to refine messaging.
• Ability to work independently, manage projects and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Experience building and maintaining global communication relationships.
