Mobile Application Engineer (iOS)

About the role

Globe is seeking a Mobile Application Engineer specialized in iOS to design, build, and maintain high‑quality mobile applications. The role involves turning business requirements into scalable code and ensuring a seamless user experience across the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Support the entire application lifecycle from concept, design, testing, release, to post‑launch support.
• Develop clean, maintainable iOS applications and write comprehensive unit and UI tests.
• Gather detailed requirements, propose solutions, and implement intuitive UI designs.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third‑party services, manage offline data storage, and handle multithreaded operations.
• Optimize performance, ensure security and reliability, and maintain legacy applications.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver high‑performance features.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and documentation of architecture.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in Swift and deep knowledge of the Xcode IDE.
• Experience with iOS application lifecycle and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Ability to develop iOS apps from the ground up, translating business needs into high‑quality code.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Experience with offline data storage solutions, multithreading, and performance tuning.
• Commitment to best practices for reliability, security, and maintainability.
