Mid-Level Java Enterprise Edition Developer I Cebu

About the role

We are looking for a Mid‑Level Java Enterprise Edition (or Jakarta EE) Developer to join our team in Cebu. You will work on designing, coding, testing, and maintaining web‑service applications while collaborating closely with clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Attend daily team meetings to review progress and plan upcoming tasks.
• Design, develop, configure, test, debug, deploy, document and maintain web‑service applications using Java EE/Jakarta EE toolkits.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement software enhancements.
• Validate that solutions align with architectural design and business needs.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Act as a point of contact for clients and stakeholders, delivering project updates and reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Information Systems or related field (undergraduates welcome).
• At least 3 years of professional experience with Java Enterprise Edition or Jakarta EE.
• Strong communication skills for client and team interaction.
• Excellent debugging and performance‑optimization abilities.
• Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments.
