Medical Physicist – Cancer Care

About the role

Calamba Medical Center is seeking a full‑time Medical Physicist to join its cancer‑care team. You will work on‑site in Calamba, collaborating with oncologists, radiotherapists and technologists to ensure safe and effective radiation treatments for patients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, review and optimise radiation treatment plans.
• Perform accurate dosimetry calculations and verify dose delivery.
• Maintain and calibrate radiation therapy equipment.
• Implement and monitor radiation safety standards for staff and patients.
• Participate in quality‑assurance programmes and equipment performance checks.
• Stay current with advances in medical physics and oncology.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (MS) or Doctorate (PhD) in Medical Physics or a related physical science.
• Certification in Medical Physics or eligibility for board certification (highly preferred).
• Clinical experience in a radiation oncology setting is a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
