Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

The Mechanical Design Engineer will design and develop machine components and assemblies from concept through detailed engineering and validation, working on‑site in Laguna.

Key responsibilities

• Create and revise 3D CAD models and technical drawings.
• Perform basic mechanical calculations, including stress, tolerance and fit analyses.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define product requirements and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Prepare documentation, bills of materials and support prototyping and testing activities.
• Assist in resolving design and manufacturing issues and work with production and maintenance to improve manufacturability, reliability and cost‑effectiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Hands‑on experience in design engineering and machine design.
• Proficiency in product design, concept development, material selection and design for manufacturability.
• Ability to interpret engineering standards and technical specifications.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate on‑site with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset, attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.

Required skills

• SolidWorks (or similar CAD software).
• AutoCAD (or similar CAD software).
• 3D modeling and technical drawing creation.
• Basic stress, tolerance and fit analysis.
• Material selection.
• Design for manufacturability.
