Manufacturing Director (Manila)

About the role

We are looking for a strategic Manufacturing Director to lead our multi‑industry production facilities in Metro Manila and surrounding zones (Cavite, Laguna). The role will drive operational excellence across FMCG, medical devices, food production, and semiconductor lines, embedding continuous‑improvement cultures throughout the ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and monitor compliance with global standards (ISO, FDA, GMP) and ensure successful audit outcomes.
• Optimize plant efficiency by improving OEE, asset utilization, and reducing downtime.
• Design and sustain site‑wide manufacturing systems using TPM, TPS, or IWS to achieve zero losses and zero defects.
• Lead Kaizen initiatives, empower cross‑functional teams, and implement SMED to shorten changeovers.
• Govern diverse production lines, balancing high‑speed FMCG packaging with ultra‑precise cleanroom operations.
• Enforce DOLE safety regulations and integrate safety with autonomous maintenance.
• Coordinate with PEZA on tax incentives, customs clearances, and utility infrastructure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing or related field; Master’s/MBA is a plus.
• 12+ years of factory operations experience, including 5+ years in a Director or VP‑level role managing multi‑line or multi‑site facilities.
• Proven track record of leading large‑scale continuous‑improvement programs.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance for FMCG, medical devices, food, and semiconductor sectors.
