Maintenance Technician – Production Equipment

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Maintenance Technician to join our team at Laguna Technopark, Binan. The role focuses on maintaining production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient operations in a fast‑paced electronics manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Conduct inspections, identify issues, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control problems.
• Execute preventive‑maintenance schedules and document all maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with production staff to minimize downtime during repairs or adjustments.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and calibration.
• Follow safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives and collaborate with engineering and operations teams.

Required profile

• Technical diploma, vocational course, or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands‑on experience diagnosing faults, replacing parts, and verifying proper operation of production equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, technical drawings, and maintenance documentation.
• Familiarity with safety standards and safe use of tools and test equipment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
