Machine Operator

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Machine Operator to join our metal manufacturing floor. The successful candidate will produce parts that meet precise dimensions and specifications while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate machinery to fabricate products according to standard operating procedures and required specifications.
• Maintain product quality and ensure production schedules are met.
• Observe safety protocols, immediately reporting accidents, incidents, or non‑conformities.
• Implement preventive maintenance to minimise machine downtime.
• Safeguard and manage all measuring equipment and tools assigned by the department.
• Report any machine breakdowns promptly to the team leader.
• Update daily performance data using the GSS software.

Required profile

• Graduate of Mechanical Technology or Industrial Technology.
• Minimum six months experience in metal manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Fast learner capable of working under pressure with limited supervision.
• Team‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Use of GSS performance‑tracking software.
