Legal Manager – TMT Industry

About the role

We are seeking a self‑driven junior Legal Manager with a strong passion for the Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) sector. The role serves as a trusted legal and compliance partner, delivering practical, business‑oriented solutions while balancing commercial goals, regulatory requirements, and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance and coordinate with cross‑region and cross‑function stakeholders, including data protection, procurement, network construction, product, marketing, finance, HR, operations, PR, and corporate governance.
• Advise on regional legal, regulatory and compliance matters for all products and business lines, while aligning with global priorities.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, internal policies, regulatory filings, and other legal documents.
• Support and improve legal management systems, processes, templates, and workflows to enhance service delivery.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent compliance standards and best practices.
• Perform additional legal and compliance duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law from a reputable university and a valid legal professional qualification in a common‑law or civil‑law jurisdiction.
• 2–5 years post‑qualification experience in a leading law firm or in‑house legal team within telecommunications, technology, or internet companies.
• Solid background in TMT regulatory compliance, covering data privacy, telecom, corporate law, commercial transactions, IP, and labor law.
• Proven ability to take initiative, balance business needs with compliance, and drive issues to quick resolution.
• Strong analytical skills, professional ethics, and executive presence.
