Compliance Officer (Philippines and Hong Kong)

About the role

GSK is looking for a Compliance Officer (Market Lead) for its local operating companies in the Philippines and Hong Kong. The role enables focused, data-driven risk management and strengthens business ownership of risk across the two locations. As a Compliance Market Lead, you provide relevant, actionable risk insights to General Managers and help them prioritise and address key risks and opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with LOC GMs and leadership teams to assess and manage priority risks in line with the Internal Control Framework, and advise commercial leadership on new, complex or high-risk activities
• Work with global Compliance colleagues to turn data into insight-driven risk advice for local leaders
• Provide compliance leadership and oversight for Commercial Alliance partnerships, acting as escalation point and ensuring governance and risk management throughout the alliance lifecycle
• Coordinate quarterly Risk Management and Compliance Board meetings, report on the effectiveness of risk management, and contribute to the Annual Confirmation process
• Take part in planning and pre-close engagements for Independent Business Monitoring and Third Party Monitoring reviews and audits, and act as escalation point for unresolved ABAC due-diligence queries and compliance investigations
• Lead targeted risk deep-dives on priority topics such as launch readiness reviews, and engage stakeholders and cross-functional partners (Commercial, Medical, Finance, Legal)

Required profile

• Proven risk management expertise and a track record of influencing senior management and delivering integrated compliance programmes
• Ability to anticipate and integrate risk management in key commercialisation activities
• Strong business acumen and knowledge of GSK's Internal Control Framework
• Understanding of the market dynamics, regulations and market access challenges of the local operating companies in the cluster
