Legal Advisor – Cebu

About the role

The Legal Advisor will work closely with the Financial Markets Segment (FMS) and Institutional Banking Segment (IBS) teams, delivering high‑quality, timely legal support on regulatory and compliance matters. This position blends technical legal expertise with a solid understanding of business, risk, and commercial considerations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and draft, review, or revise documentation for derivatives, loan syndication, credit structuring, collateral management and other banking products.
• Collaborate with FMS, IBS, and cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Support risk management initiatives and contribute to the development of internal policies.
• Assist in managing legal aspects of new product launches and business transactions.

Required profile

• Law degree with relevant professional qualification.
• Demonstrated experience in banking, finance, or capital markets legal work.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to interpret complex regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
