Key Account Manager – Retail – FMCG

About the role

The Key Account Manager will drive growth for retail and FMCG categories on Lazada by shaping commercial strategy, managing brand partnerships, and optimizing inventory. You will work closely with top electronics brands to deliver profitable promotions and a compelling product assortment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement pricing strategies to protect margins while staying competitive.
• Manage P&L, cost structures, and promotional budgets to maximize profitability.
• Secure brand funding for co‑marketing initiatives, vouchers, installment plans and exclusive deals.
• Analyse sales data and market trends to optimise category performance and identify new revenue opportunities.
• Lead business planning with top brands, negotiate exclusive launches and promotional campaigns.
• Implement always‑on seller vouchers, time‑bound promotions and cross‑category collaborations.
• Plan and monitor assortment, sell‑through rates, stock levels and Days of Inventory.
• Develop demand forecasts, work with logistics to improve inventory flow and execute clearance strategies for slow‑moving stock.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in eCommerce, retail, FMCG or category management.
• Strong understanding of P&L management, demand planning and commercial negotiations.
• Proven ability to work with brands and suppliers to negotiate win‑win deals.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder management abilities.
