Key Account Manager – Retail – FMCG

About the role

The Key Account Manager will drive growth for top retail and FMCG brands on Lazada’s platform. You will shape commercial strategy, manage profitability, and ensure optimal inventory and assortment for a high‑performing marketplace.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement pricing strategies to protect margins while staying competitive.
• Manage P&L, cost structures, promotional budgets and secure brand funding for co‑marketing, vouchers, installment plans and exclusive deals.
• Analyze sales data, market trends and profitability reports to optimise category performance.
• Lead business planning with top electronics brands, negotiate exclusive launches, campaigns and brand investments.
• Implement always‑on seller vouchers, time‑bound promotions and cross‑category collaborations.
• Optimise assortment planning, monitor sell‑through, stock levels and Days of Inventory.
• Develop demand‑forecasting strategies, work with logistics to improve inventory flow and fulfilment efficiency.
• Execute clearance strategies for slow‑moving stock while protecting margin targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in eCommerce, retail, FMCG or category management.
• Strong understanding of P&L management, demand planning and commercial negotiations.
• Proven ability to work with brands and suppliers to negotiate win‑win deals.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
