Junior Traffic/Transportation Engineer

About the role

TYLin is seeking a Junior Traffic/Transportation Engineer to support project teams in delivering innovative mobility solutions. The role involves on‑site and office work Monday to Friday, assisting senior engineers with traffic studies, data analysis and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare transportation and traffic engineering reports, plans and technical documents.
• Conduct basic traffic analysis and support traffic modeling using tools such as PTV Vissim, AutoTURN and Synchro.
• Collect, process and analyse traffic and transportation data.
• Coordinate with engineers and project team members, applying relevant standards and guidelines.
• Support progress reports, presentations and the preparation of technical figures, tables and graphics.
• Maintain organized project files and assist with meeting scheduling, minutes and logistical arrangements.
• Participate in fieldwork activities including traffic surveys, site visits and inspections.
• Contribute to TYLin’s BUILD diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience or an equivalent education‑experience mix.
• Registered Professional Engineer in the Philippines or membership in an international engineering chartered body.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with traffic engineering software such as PTV Vissim, AutoTURN and Synchro.
