Junior Legal Counsel

About the role

The Junior Legal Counsel will provide day-to-day legal support to Gushcloud Philippines, focusing on commercial contracts, talent agreements and corporate compliance. Working closely with Sales, Business Development, Account Management, Talent Management, Finance, Operations and HR, you will help draft, review, negotiate and manage agreements that underpin influencer marketing and media activities.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, revise and negotiate commercial agreements such as service contracts, statements of work, campaign agreements, supplier agreements and NDAs.
• Identify legal and commercial risks in contracts and propose practical solutions; escalate high-risk or non-standard agreements to the Senior Legal Counsel.
• Prepare and maintain talent-management, representation, endorsement, licensing and content agreements for creators and influencers, ensuring proper scope, commissions, exclusivity, ownership and usage rights.
• Manage the full contract lifecycle—from drafting through approval, execution, filing, renewal and termination—and keep an organized repository of contracts and key dates.
• Support corporate housekeeping and compliance tasks, including maintaining corporate records and assisting with routine legal matters under supervision.
• Contribute to the improvement of contract-management processes, templates and checklists.

Required profile

• Qualified law degree and admission to practice in the Philippines.
• Early-career lawyer seeking experience in commercial, media, entertainment and intellectual-property law.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills
