Junior Buyer

About the role

As a Junior Buyer you will work daily in the Fenevision ERP and Sequel Reports systems, reviewing demand signals, validating purchase recommendations, and creating purchase orders for multiple plant locations. You will partner with site teams to ensure inventory availability and support production schedules in a high‑volume manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute purchase orders based on ERP‑generated demand and operational needs.
• Validate system recommendations against actual production requirements in coordination with plants.
• Maintain item and vendor master data, including lead times, pricing, safety stock, and lot sizes.
• Monitor inventory performance, review overages/shortages, and manage inter‑company transfers.
• Communicate production order status and ensure material availability aligns with schedules.
• Support accurate cycle counts and inventory integrity.
• Review and correct month‑end inventory valuation reports.
• Coordinate with vendors on product details, pricing, delivery, and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, materials planning, or a junior buyer role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote setting aligned to U.S. business hours.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
