Java Software Engineer – Mid to Senior (Hybrid, Makati)

About the role

We are looking for experienced Java engineers to join our growing technology teams in Makati. The role can be senior associate, senior, or mid‑level, working in a hybrid setup (3 days onsite per week) on innovative cloud‑native projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using Java 8/11+, Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Build and expose RESTful APIs and micro‑services that run on AWS, OpenStack or GCP.
• Write efficient SQL queries, work with JPA/Hibernate and relational databases.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and release processes.
• Collaborate with front‑end teams using React or Angular and contribute to AI‑assisted development workflows.
• Provide technical leadership on large‑scale projects for senior candidates.

Required profile

• 2–8+ years of software development experience, depending on the level.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Experience leading projects and managing stakeholders for senior roles.
