Java Developer (Hybrid, Cebu)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to join our hybrid team in Cebu IT Park. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to deliver high‑quality software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather requirements and create or update functional specifications.
• Develop new features from scratch and integrate third‑party libraries or APIs.
• Perform unit, integration and manual testing; write automated test scripts when needed.
• Fix bugs, write efficient SQL queries with proper JOINs, and review code of peers and junior developers.
• Collaborate on project standards, apply defensive coding practices, and support testers in building test environments.
• Directly interact with customers, with printer/device experience considered a plus.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Java Developer.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful Web Services.
• Hands‑on experience with JUnit, Docker, Git, SVN and GWT.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
