Japanese Multilingual Senior Consultant, GDS Consulting

About the role

EY is hiring a Japanese Multilingual Senior Consultant for its GDS Consulting CSS (Consulting Support Services) team in Taguig. The CSS role improves account team efficiency through project management and coordination, covering account coordination, project management, financial analysis, data compliance and other administrative tasks. The consultant works with Japanese clients and stakeholders, using Japanese fluently alongside English.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in consulting engagements with the team lead and project managers.
• Communicate clearly with Japanese clients and stakeholders using Japanese.
• Deliver high-quality consulting services within project timelines.
• Help write reports, proposals and other documents in English and Japanese.
• Apply knowledge of Japanese business and corporate culture in client interactions.
• Take part in business meetings and team discussions.
• Mentor and guide junior team members.
• Use automation and AI to improve efficiency and quality.
• Support the manager with proposal development and project delivery, report status updates and escalate risks to senior team members.

Required profile

• Fluent Japanese (N3-N1), able to understand, speak, read and write; mandatory requirement.
• 3-6 years of experience in management consulting or a related field preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or a related field.
• Good understanding of the consulting process and project lifecycle.
• High analytical ability, strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
