IT Project Manager – Business Initiatives

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead one major project or multiple smaller initiatives that support key business objectives. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of assigned projects, from planning to delivery.
• Develop and maintain technical and business processes to meet requirements efficiently.
• Lead project teams, define roles, set performance objectives, and provide coaching.
• Coordinate communication with stakeholders, vendors, and third‑party partners.
• Identify, raise, and resolve project issues at appropriate levels.
• Collaborate with business users to assess feasibility and define effort estimates.
• Conduct project reviews to ensure compliance with established standards and regulations.
• Oversee production systems, allocate resources for ad‑hoc needs, and keep technologies current with industry trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in application systems design, analysis, development, and maintenance, including mainframe, midrange, and microcomputer environments.
• Experience in banking operations is preferred.
• Proven ability to develop and manage business and technical processes.
• Strong resource‑management skills to meet project objectives.
