Senior SecOps Engineer – Remote (Philippines)

About the role

CyberOne is looking for a Senior SecOps Engineer to join its Microsoft Cyber Engineering team. The role focuses on implementing and supporting Microsoft security solutions, working closely with engineers, SOC analysts and customers to deliver secure cloud outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and support Microsoft security products, primarily Defender and Azure Sentinel.
• Design and refine engineering standards and best practices.
• Conduct periodic Microsoft tenant health checks, audits and architecture reviews.
• Collaborate with SOC analysts to enhance security event detection.
• Research, evaluate and introduce new SOC technologies.
• Deploy automation to improve SOC operational efficiency.
• Assist in triage and resolution of security incidents.
• Produce high‑quality reports and customer‑facing documentation.
• Stay current on cyber‑threat trends and Microsoft security capabilities.
• Mentor junior team members as needed.

Required profile

• Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., AZ‑104, SC‑200, AZ‑500, AZ‑305).
• Solid background as a Security Engineer or SOC Engineer.
• Experience leading automation/scripting initiatives in SIEM tools.
• Hands‑on experience with SIEM solutions such as Azure Sentinel, Splunk, McAfee, Rapid7, LogRhythm.
• Proven ability to analyse cloud security risks, perform audits and recommend controls.
• Excellent written and spoken English for client communication.
• Capability to design and document security processes.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience using KQL and Microsoft security technologies.
