Inbound Logistics Coordinator

About the role

Join IFF’s Global Operations team in Manila as an Inbound Logistics Coordinator. You will ensure raw materials arrive on time for plant operations across Greater Asia, supporting our sustainable innovation pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Track inbound shipments from global suppliers and inter‑affiliates.
• Follow up purchase orders and resolve delivery delays with suppliers or logistics providers.
• Coordinate transportation with freight forwarders, carriers and logistics partners.
• Arrange deliveries from ports or terminals to warehouses or plants.
• Work with customs brokers to clear shipments promptly.
• Communicate with planning, warehouse and logistics teams to maintain smooth inbound flow.
• Verify freight invoices and support cost‑control initiatives.
• Monitor logistics service provider performance and escalate issues.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and update SAP or other logistics systems.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, warehousing or transportation.
• Basic knowledge of shipping processes, transport modes (air, sea, land) and Incoterms.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and willingness to learn SAP.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks and manage urgent issues.
