ICT On‑Site Support and Build Area Staff

About the role

Join a leading global outsourcer as an ICT On‑Site Support and Build Area Staff member. You will provide hands‑on technical assistance to end‑users, ensuring that desktops, laptops and peripheral equipment are operational and compliant with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for end‑users.
• Evaluate, test and recommend equipment, software and system tools to the On‑Site Support Manager.
• Install, configure and assess usability of desktops, laptops and peripherals following defined guidelines.
• Load desktops with the Acquire‑approved image and required applications.
• Escalate complex problems to higher‑level support when necessary.
• Document, track and monitor incidents to ensure timely resolution.
• Provide physical presence and support during incidents and outages.
• Assist on projects, changes and implementations as front‑end support for users.
• Perform ad‑hoc technology tasks assigned by the immediate manager.

Required profile

• Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
• Experience installing and configuring desktop computers, laptops and peripherals.
• Comfortable working onsite and interacting directly with end‑users.
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
