Human Resources Officer – Philippines (Hybrid Remote)

About the role

Bonterra is building its presence in the Philippines and is looking for a Human Resources Officer to lead recruitment and HR administration. Reporting to the Global Offshore Operations Manager, you will own the end‑to‑end hiring process, ensure compliance with local labor laws, and support the transition to a direct Philippine entity. The role is hybrid, with remote work and occasional office visits in Makati.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full‑cycle recruitment for Bonterra Philippines, including job posting, screening, interview coordination and offer management.
• Partner with global hiring managers to define role requirements and maintain a high‑quality candidate experience.
• Build and nurture talent pipelines and track hiring metrics such as time‑to‑fill.
• Manage onboarding, off‑boarding, promotions and contract updates for all Philippines‑based employees.
• Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems and ensure compliance with Philippine labor regulations.
• Support the transition from the current Employer of Record to a direct Philippine entity, coordinating employment contracts, benefits enrollment and statutory registrations.
• Provide data for monthly payroll processing and ensure statutory compliance once the entity is established.

Required profile

• Proven experience in talent acquisition and HR administration, preferably in the Philippines.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine labor law and statutory requirements.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with global teams.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
