HSE Business Partner – Warehousing

About the role

Maersk is seeking an HSE Business Partner to embed a strong safety culture and ensure compliance across its warehousing sites in the Philippines. The role bridges operations and strategy, supporting business performance through health, safety, and environment integration.

Key responsibilities

• Support site managers and frontline teams to identify hazards, select controls using the hierarchy of control, and drive risk reduction.
• Facilitate compliance with global HSE standards and local legislation, advising on legal requirements.
• Lead root‑cause investigations for high‑potential incidents and implement learning actions.
• Conduct HSE impact and risk assessments during growth, integration, and workplace redesign.
• Design and execute a local HSE Leader‑Led Gemba program and conduct routine site visits.
• Collaborate with Operations, HR, and Procurement to ensure third‑party labour HSE controls.
• Coordinate emergency response capabilities and support waste management initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5–6 years of relevant experience in logistics, warehousing or manufacturing.
• Safety Officer Level 3 (SO3) or Level 4 (SO4) certification.
• Experience engaging with clients and external stakeholders, delivering presentations and safety communications.
• Proficiency in English and Tagalog with strong communication skills.
