HOA Accounts Support Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented HOA Accounts Support Specialist with hands‑on experience in AppFolio to manage day‑to‑day financial operations for U.S. homeowners associations. The role supports the accounting team by processing transactions, maintaining homeowner accounts, and ensuring accurate financial documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, record homeowner assessment payments, and assist with collections and account reconciliations.
• Perform bank and credit‑card reconciliations, support month‑end and year‑end closing, and prepare financial reports and homeowner statements.
• Manage homeowner accounts within AppFolio, update information, post transactions, and generate financial reports.
• Respond to accounting inquiries, coordinate with internal departments to resolve billing issues, and maintain organized digital records.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of HOA or property‑management accounting support experience.
• Hands‑on experience with AppFolio.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and homeowner assessments.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities.
