Healthcare Virtual Assistant – Appointment Setter (Remote)

About the role

Snapscale is seeking a remote Healthcare Virtual Assistant who will act as a US Clinic Coordinator. The role focuses on delivering a smooth patient experience by handling appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and clinic communications.

Key responsibilities

• Verify patient benefits and insurance coverage.
• Reactivate past patients and maintain engagement.
• Answer inbound calls, respond to inquiries, and follow up on appointment confirmations.
• Make outbound calls to leads and potential patients.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments efficiently.
• Process prescription refills according to clinic policies.
• Manage electronic medical records (EMR) and audit lab results.
• Monitor virtual clinic kiosk workflows.

Required profile

• Proven experience in appointment setting and patient follow‑up.
• Background working with US‑based clinics or healthcare environments.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, insurance verification, and inbound call handling.
• Experience processing refills, auditing labs, and following up on results.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and self‑motivated.
• Stable internet connection and a quiet dedicated workspace.
