Head of Finance Operations

About the role

Lead finance operations excellence as a strategic partner to the CFO, driving transformation, efficiency and governance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and optimize core finance processes including Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay and Treasury Operations.
• Drive service delivery excellence, standardisation and cost efficiency across finance functions and shared services.
• Translate CFO priorities into operational plans and act as deputy on governance and cross‑functional initiatives.
• Lead finance transformation initiatives such as automation, digitalisation, ERP optimisation and AI‑enabled analytics.
• Ensure strong internal controls, regulatory compliance and audit readiness.
• Oversee financial data integrity, reporting and real‑time insights to support business decisions.

Required profile

• 12–15 years progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 5 years in senior finance operations leadership.
• Experience in multinational, regulated industries (healthcare, medical devices, life sciences).
• CPA preferred; MBA or postgraduate finance qualification an advantage.
• Proven ability to lead high‑performing teams in fast‑paced, transformation‑oriented environments.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience in Accounts Receivable, Revenue Cycle Management, Billing & Invoicing and Working Capital Management.
• Strong knowledge of financial controls, revenue recognition, taxation, compliance and audit requirements.
• Experience with ERP systems, finance automation, shared services transformation and process improvement.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma or similar continuous‑improvement methodologies.
