Head of Cybersecurity

About the role

The Head of Cybersecurity leads and enhances enterprise cybersecurity services across a shared‑services or multi‑business environment, reporting to the Head of Technology Services. The role oversees security operations, engineering, governance and incident response to protect infrastructure, networks, cloud and operational platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development and enhancement of cybersecurity services, design security architecture frameworks and define risk and threat assessment methodologies.
• Oversee deployment, configuration and operational management of SIEM, SOAR, endpoint protection, identity and access management, vulnerability management and cloud security tools.
• Improve detection accuracy, system reliability and response effectiveness through process optimisation and rule tuning.
• Coordinate incident response activities, including investigation, containment, eradication and recovery, and drive continuous improvement of incident‑response processes.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity governance, risk‑assessment frameworks, vendor security assessments and compliance reporting.
• Produce metrics and reports on security posture for leadership and ensure alignment with industry standards.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in managed security services and enterprise cybersecurity operations.
• Proven ability to manage regional stakeholders and lead multidisciplinary security teams.
• Strong background in security architecture, risk assessment and governance.
