System Analyst (Payment Gate)

About the role

You will help the Payment Gate team ship new payment features faster and with higher quality, working on a real‑time platform that processes thousands of financial transactions daily. The role involves translating business needs into technical specifications and ensuring seamless integration across core banking, CRM and third‑party payment systems.

Key responsibilities

• Work within the Payment Gate team to design, develop and release new payment features on a real‑time platform.
• Translate business and technical requirements into system specifications, integration plans, data models and process diagrams.
• Bridge product, engineering and operations to define design, testing and release procedures for payment solutions.
• Design and configure system solutions, create functional specifications, data models, sequence diagrams and BPMN process flows.
• Define integration requirements and manage data mapping between Payment Gate and core banking, CRM and third‑party payment APIs.
• Run system testing, troubleshoot issues and support developers before and after release.
• Identify workflow gaps, propose improvements and conduct user training for internal teams.

Required profile

• 3+ years experience as a System Analyst or similar role, preferably in payment or financial platforms.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, API integrations and enterprise application integration (core banking, CRM, third‑party APIs).
• Proficient in BPMN notation and able to produce clear sequence diagrams, data flow models and functional specifications.
• Hands‑on experience with data mapping, API integration workflows and integration testing.
• Excellent documentation skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Comfortable collaborating with distributed, cross‑functional teams across time zones.
