Hardware Mechanical Engineer

About the role

The Hardware Mechanical Engineer will lead the design, development, testing and documentation of mechanical components and assemblies for NCR Atleos products. This position requires advanced 3D CAD expertise and the ability to mentor junior engineers while ensuring high‑quality deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Design component, sub‑assembly and top‑level assembly Level 3D CAD models.
• Lead design reviews, drawing reviews and DR review activities.
• Perform tolerance analysis on high‑complexity assemblies.
• Identify and resolve design or technical problems arising from testing and evaluation.
• Create design concepts and maintain CAD files using PDMLink and Merlin.
• Mentor at least two junior engineers.

Required profile

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or Electromechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with 3D CAD (preferably Pro/Engineer – Creo), documentation, design, development and analysis.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and guide junior team members.
