Graphic Designer

About the role

MicroSourcing is looking for a Graphic Designer to create advertisements, commercial layouts, and editorial pages for both print and digital publishing. The role involves managing production workflows, preparing ePaper/eMag files, and ensuring high‑quality pre‑press output.

Key responsibilities

• Design advertisements, commercial layouts, and editorial pages using Adobe InDesign and web‑based graphic resources.
• Layout publication pages, placing ads, editorial stories, and photos across various departments.
• Prepare digital ePaper and eMag documents for online publishing.
• Manage production workflows and copy allocation through internal systems (Star Production System, SCMS).
• Send finalized pages to press, uphold pre‑press quality standards, and obtain client approvals.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, Layout Artist, or Pre‑Press Operator in print and digital publishing.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign and print production/layout design tools.
• Strong understanding of pre‑press processes, page layout principles, and quality assurance.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage layout assets, text copy, images, and client approvals.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills to meet tight press deadlines.
