Global Procurement Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Global Procurement Manager to lead the development and execution of worldwide procurement strategies. The role will ensure the acquisition of goods and services is cost‑effective, compliant and aligned with corporate objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement global procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals, balancing cost, quality and risk.
• Identify, evaluate and select reliable suppliers, negotiate contracts and manage ongoing relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Analyze spending, uncover cost‑saving opportunities and optimize procurement costs while maintaining standards.
• Negotiate favorable contract terms and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Identify supply‑chain risks and create mitigation strategies to minimise disruptions.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of procurement professionals, fostering a collaborative high‑performance environment.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations and internal procurement policies.
• Track key performance indicators, analyse procurement data and report on performance against targets.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, legal and other stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business needs.
• Stay informed on market trends, industry best practices and emerging technologies in procurement.

Required profile

• Proven leadership and strategic thinking abilities.
• Strong analytical skills with a data‑driven decision‑making approach.
• In‑depth knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with international trade regulations and practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration or a related field.
• Up‑to‑date specialist knowledge of procurement legislation, standards and best practices.
