Global Privacy Director

About the role

TaskUs is seeking a Global Privacy Director to shape and execute its worldwide data protection strategy. You will act as the chief guardian of client and employee data, embedding privacy into every AI‑driven service and digital operation across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a global privacy roadmap aligned with TaskUs’s rapid expansion into North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
• Serve as the subject‑matter expert on GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, LGPD, VCDPA and emerging AI‑related regulations.
• Partner with Sales and Legal to negotiate Data Processing Addendums and lead privacy discussions during client audits and RFPs.
• Collaborate with Product and AI Operations teams to ensure ethical, transparent, and compliant use of generative AI and machine‑learning models.
• Integrate Privacy‑by‑Design principles into product lifecycles, conduct DPIAs, and oversee incident response.

Required profile

• Minimum 8‑10 years of experience in privacy, data protection or related legal roles, with a proven track record of leading global programs.
• Deep knowledge of major privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, VCDPA) and emerging AI regulations.
• Strong ability to influence cross‑functional teams and senior leadership.
• Excellent communication skills for client negotiations and internal training.
