Global Controller

About the role

Tarro is seeking a systems‑oriented Global Controller to lead its accounting function across multiple offices. This senior finance position will own financial reporting integrity, global consolidation, internal controls, and finance infrastructure as the company continues scaling profitably.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee global accounting operations for all entities (US, PH, MY, etc.).
• Ensure timely, accurate, GAAP‑compliant financial reporting.
• Strengthen internal controls and risk‑management frameworks.
• Lead audit preparation and external reporting processes.
• Improve and automate accounting systems and processes.
• Partner cross‑functionally to support data‑driven decision‑making.
• Standardize month‑end close to ≤5‑7 days globally and eliminate reporting inconsistencies.
• Implement scalable internal control framework and reduce key‑person risk.
• Review tax filings and ensure compliance with regulations in each jurisdiction.

Required profile

• Systems‑oriented finance professional with experience in high‑growth environments.
• Proven ability to lead accounting functions across multiple geographic locations.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, consolidation, and internal control frameworks.
• Experience managing audit processes and tax compliance across jurisdictions.
