Global Audit Manager – Lead Audit Teams & Client Relationships

About the role

We are seeking a Global Audit Manager to lead and manage audit engagements for our clients. The role involves overseeing audit teams, ensuring high‑quality delivery, and acting as the primary point of contact for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of audit professionals, including senior and staff members, throughout the engagement lifecycle.
• Ensure adherence to engagement timelines, budgets, and firm standards.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing strategic insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with partners and directors to develop comprehensive audit strategies and plans.
• Allocate resources, assign roles, and develop audit programs.
• Conduct complex audit procedures, review workpapers, and assess audit findings.
• Monitor engagement progress, resolve challenges, and stay current on accounting standards and regulatory changes.
• Coach, mentor, and develop audit staff, conduct performance evaluations, and foster continuous learning.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of audit documentation with firm standards.
• Identify business development opportunities and contribute to client proposals and networking.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience, including 5+ years of audit experience within a CPA firm with progressive leadership responsibilities.
• CPA license (or equivalent certifications for IT audit) and completion of minimum CPE credit requirements.
• Ability to work prolonged periods at a desk and lift up to 15 pounds.
