General Ledger Supervisor – APAC

About the role

We are looking for an experienced General Ledger Supervisor to lead month‑end close and financial reporting for our APAC entities. The role combines hands‑on accounting, team leadership, and regional compliance to ensure accurate financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close activities across APAC entities.
• Review and approve journal entries, accruals, pre‑payments and reclassifications.
• Complete balance‑sheet reconciliations on schedule and investigate variances.
• Prepare financial reports and management reporting packages.
• Supervise, mentor and coach GL accountants, monitoring performance and deadlines.
• Support accounting operations in multiple APAC countries, ensuring local compliance.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Tax, Treasury and external auditors.
• Maintain internal controls, support audit requirements and drive process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (CPA preferred).
• 5+ years of General Ledger or general accounting experience.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Proven APAC regional accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of month‑end close, reconciliations and financial reporting.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite or Workday.
