Financial Controller – Hospitality Finance Leader

About the role

Filinvest Hospitality is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead finance operations for the Quest Plus Conference Center in Alabang, Muntinlupa City. The role will drive financial reporting, budgeting, cost control and compliance across all hotel departments.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accounting, payroll, income audit, credit, purchasing and cost‑control functions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
• Conduct monthly P&L reviews, cash‑flow analysis and executive summaries for management and owners.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, produce monthly forecasts and provide variance analysis.
• Implement strategic cost‑control measures for Food & Beverage, Rooms, Spa and other operational areas.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, labor laws and accounting standards; maintain robust internal controls.
• Facilitate internal and external audits and respond to audit findings.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team, establishing SOPs and best practices.

Required profile

• At least 10 years of finance experience in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and local tax regulations.
