General Ledger Specialist II (Spanish)

About the role

We are seeking a Specialist II in General Ledger who is fluent in Spanish to join our finance team. The role focuses on safeguarding assets through accurate reconciliations, supporting month‑end close, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and GAAP.

Key responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Validate cash transactions and maintain audit trails.
• Execute balance‑sheet account reconciliations and vouch source documents.
• Prepare fixed‑asset accounting entries, including depreciation, retirements, transfers, and write‑offs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to deliver critical financial deliverables.
• Generate analytical reports to identify and correct misrecorded transactions before final financial statements.
• Post journal entries to restate account balances as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of general accounting experience, primarily in General Ledger functions.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and GAAP.
• Spanish language certification.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as Oracle, JDE, and SAP.
• Experience with bank and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Fixed‑asset accounting knowledge.
