General Accounting Analyst

About the role
The General Accounting Analyst will support the finance team by ensuring accurate recording of company transactions and timely month‑end reporting. This position offers an opportunity to work with SAP and develop a solid foundation in financial statement preparation.
Key responsibilities
- Post journal entries of all company transactions in SAP.
- Execute month‑end closing activities and reconcile accounts.
- Prepare balance sheet, profit & loss statement, and cash flow reports.
- Verify that accounting information is posted accurately and on schedule.
- Assist internal and external auditors by providing required documentation.
Required profile
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an audit firm.
- Strong attention to detail and organized work habits.
- Problem‑solving and time‑management abilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency in SAP for journal posting.
- Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
