General Accountant

About the role
We are looking for a diligent General Accountant to maintain accurate financial records, prepare timely reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The role involves handling day‑to‑day accounting operations and supporting the finance team in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and record journal entries accurately and on schedule.
- Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Required profile
- Relevant accounting qualification or equivalent experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and standards.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
