Fund Accounting Consultant

About the role

As a Fund Accounting Consultant you will ensure that client investment portfolios are accurately maintained in accordance with statutory, GAAP and tax requirements. You will operate independently, providing high‑level consulting and leadership across a range of complex, cross‑functional accounting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain books and records for client investment portfolios applying appropriate statutory, GAAP and tax guidance.
• Provide in‑depth consulting and technical leadership to internal teams and external partners.
• Execute large‑scale, cross‑functional projects that are technically challenging.
• Balance operational execution with strategic direction for the business function.
• Interact directly with committees and senior management, escalating critical issues as needed.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree with a strong accounting and financial principles background.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in audit, valuation composition, or related investment accounting functions.
• CPA designation preferred but not mandatory.
