Full Stack Engineer (Back‑end Focus) – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong backend focus to join our award‑winning SaaS platform serving a US digital‑marketing client. The role is fully remote from the Philippines and offers long‑term independent‑contract work, collaborating directly with US engineering leadership to build and scale automated marketing applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain robust, scalable RESTful APIs that integrate with major advertising platforms such as Google, Meta and Microsoft.
• Build and evolve clean micro‑service architectures, reducing deployment risk and eliminating monolithic debt.
• Manage relational data layers using SQL Server and support future cloud‑data scaling initiatives (e.g., BigQuery).
• Own end‑to‑end feature delivery, including advanced platform integrations, data exports and AI‑driven reporting agents.
• Write maintainable code and implement comprehensive unit‑testing frameworks to raise platform quality.
• Participate in agile refinement sessions with product teams and translate operational stories into high‑performance technical solutions.
• Engage in peer code reviews, follow strict coding conventions and proactively suggest optimisations.
• Manage daily workflow independently within Jira and Confluence while aligning with the broader team.

Required profile

• 4‑5+ years of hands‑on software engineering experience, primarily on backend systems.
• Strong ownership mindset, intellectual honesty and proactive communication.
• Ability to work autonomously across time zones, aligning with a 9 AM CST (US) start time.

Required skills

• .NET (C#) and .NET 8
• RESTful API design
• SQL Server relational databases
• Azure cloud services and containerised deployments (e.g., Docker, blue‑green deployments)
• GitHub workflow management
• Jira and Confluence
• Familiarity with Vue.js and TypeScript (optional)
