Front End Application Developer

About the role

IBM Consulting is seeking a Front End Application Developer to turn visual and interactive designs into functional web and mobile applications. You will work with cross‑functional teams to deliver responsive user interfaces that support the company’s hybrid cloud and AI initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop user interfaces using CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript and PHP, ensuring cross‑device compatibility.
• Create interactive prototypes with AJAX, JSON, jQuery and Dojo to validate design concepts.
• Implement responsive design techniques to adapt applications to various screen sizes and orientations.
• Integrate external APIs and front‑end frameworks to enhance functionality and performance.
• Write clean, well‑documented code and participate in code reviews.

Required profile

• Proven experience translating visual designs into functional front‑end solutions.
• Hands‑on coding ability with JavaScript and PHP.
• Familiarity with modern web technologies and best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment.
