FP&A Analyst – Financial Planning & Analysis

About the role

Smartsourcing is seeking an FP&A Analyst to provide forward‑looking financial insights, support budgeting and forecasting, and enable data‑driven commercial decisions across the organization. You will partner with key stakeholders to improve financial visibility and drive business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Support and manage quarterly and annual budget and forecast cycles, develop driver‑based financial models, and conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis.
• Produce high‑quality budget packs with clear commentary and coordinate stakeholder inputs.
• Deliver monthly management reports with variance analysis, cohort, WIP, and commission model analysis, and maintain BI dashboards.
• Analyse fleet performance metrics, support fleet pricing, assess full‑lifecycle profitability, and provide commercial insights.
• Act as a trusted finance partner to operational teams, facilitating planning discussions and challenging assumptions.
• Support implementation and optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics ERP, drive continuous improvement, and enhance data quality and automation.

Required profile

• Strong accounting and compliance knowledge.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling expertise.
• Experience with Power BI or similar business‑intelligence tools.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
