Financial Controller – Remote (Philippines)

About the role

MicroSourcing is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead the accounting function of its growing manufacturing business. This fully remote position reports directly to ownership and provides strategic financial leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations, including general ledger, month‑end and year‑end close, and financial statement preparation.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, inventory, and cost accounting for manufacturing processes.
• Directly supervise the Accounting Manager and coordinate with senior finance staff.
• Lead financial audit preparation and liaison with external auditors, CPA firms, banks, and regulatory agencies.
• Establish and maintain robust internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Support ownership with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cash management.
• Drive process improvements and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 + years of progressive accounting experience in senior leadership roles.
• Previously held the title of Controller or an equivalent senior position.
• Master’s degree in Accounting.
• Strong experience in manufacturing or inventory‑based accounting preferred.
