Senior Internal Auditor (Non-Store)

About the role

The Senior Internal Auditor (Non-Store) leads audit projects across the Head Office and warehouse functions, ensuring compliance with policies, regulations and internal controls. This role identifies risks, inefficiencies and potential fraud, providing actionable recommendations to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report audit engagements covering finance, procurement, HR, IT and supply chain in non‑store operations.
• Perform data‑analytics reviews of financial and operational transactions to detect anomalies and trends.
• Assess risks, evaluate controls and identify weaknesses, fraud risks and process inefficiencies.
• Present audit findings and recommendations to senior leaders and monitor corrective‑action implementation.
• Conduct ad‑hoc compliance reviews and investigations related to fraud.
• Support cross‑functional risk assessments and other special projects as assigned.
• Maintain comprehensive audit documentation in line with internal audit standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Internal Audit or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CIA or progress toward one preferred.
• Minimum five years of audit experience, preferably in retail, trading, FMCG or multi‑branch environments.
• Proven experience in financial, operational, compliance and fraud investigation audits.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to work onsite at the Marikina Head Office and travel nationwide.
