Financial Controller

About the role

SGS is seeking a Financial Controller to lead its finance function, ensuring accurate reporting and robust financial controls. You will work closely with senior leadership to shape financial strategy and drive performance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate financial performance, identifying improvement opportunities.
• Prepare and present accurate financial reports to senior leadership.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Oversee accounting operations, bookkeeping, and financial controls.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal requirements.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and investment decisions.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align financial strategies with business goals.
• Provide financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to stakeholders.
