Accounting Assistant (Full‑time, On‑site)

About the role

The Accounting Assistant will join the finance and accounting team at International Elevator & Equipment, Inc. (IEE) in Muntinlupa City. This full‑time, on‑site position supports daily financial operations, ensuring accurate recording, processing, and reporting of transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers and subsidiary records.
• Assist in the preparation, review, and reconciliation of financial statements.
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts, and ensure proper documentation and filing.
• Enter data into accounting software, generate basic reports, and support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and provide timely financial information.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles.
• Ability to work with financial statements, including preparation, review, and reconciliation.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and organizational skills.
• Good analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality and integrity.
• Preferred: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Competence in spreadsheet tools such as Microsoft Excel.
