Finance Controller

About the role

The Finance Controller will serve as a senior finance leader responsible for the integrity of financial operations, reporting, and internal controls. Based in the Philippines, the role works closely with the CFO and U.S. teams to ensure accurate and efficient financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end monthly, quarterly and annual financial close, preparing consolidated statements and management reports.
• Design, implement and maintain internal controls, ensuring compliance with GAAP, local standards and SOX.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis to support strategic decision‑making.
• Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships and treasury functions.
• Serve as local office manager for the Philippines team, handling day‑to‑day operations and HR liaison duties.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, primarily in manufacturing or project‑based industries.
• At least 3 years in a Controller or senior accounting leadership role with direct reports.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA certification is mandatory.
• Strong expertise in US GAAP, International Accounting Standards and SOX compliance.

Required skills

• Proficiency in R2R, P2P and B2C processes.
• Advanced financial modeling, variance analysis and Excel (including Pivot Tables).
• Experience with account reconciliation software such as Blackline.
• Hands‑on knowledge of ERP systems, especially SAP and Acumatica.
• Interest in AI, automation and data architecture applied to finance.
